I walked into the sea.
My feet, while pushing to the bottom,
Touched the soft skin of the fish golden
As my hands got caught in the web algae
Its limbs extending to the coast and the horizon
To the deep end of a cold sea
Thick and salty
Crushed stone water in my mouth
My throat with a white pearl stuck
My eyes frozen in foreign blue
In the channel of my trunk a sea snake grows
An orphan of a rock and a river
With neither glass nor a wave, sinks homeless.
