Important art will require giving up all the

conditioning and all the learning — one

drastic surrender to the current moment in

its most organic fabric. The only

inspiration would be the beating heart of

the current moment, one very raw

experiment to ensure no impurities of

individual and society’s perceptions and

notions enter the recipe. But this will come

at a price. Unlearning is always

accompanied by seeing the unseen, what

was hidden earlier behind the unlit space

of awareness. This might reveal the

unexpected, including the death of the

artist herself.
